Shield of Faith Prayers is intended to be a free for use prayer site, offering prayers for various needs. The prayers all feature the English as well as Hebrew name for Jesus (Yehowshua, the 'W' is silent). It is our wish that you will be helped and blessed by the prayers we offer. Each prayer has been prayed over that it will succeed in it's purpose to lift your needs before God. Please feel free to print the prayers or copy and send to others who may benefit from them. May God richly bless you.

ABOUT PRAYER: Prayers are like the small stones King David gathered as his ammunition against Goliath the giant. He cast one of the little stones and the power of God put force and speed behind the stone making it the equivalent of a bullet leaving a gun, and slaying the giant. Prayers are as useless as that small stone unless the power of God is behind them.

We pray that God's power will be with you as you employ these prayers in your life, and that everything that seemed too monumental to overcome will fall. Prayers are spiritual weapons and "our weapons are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds".

How to make you prayers more powerful: 1. First of all if you are not saved or have unforgiven sin please pray the "salvation prayer". Sin is a barrier that keeps you from receiving from God. 2. If you have faith as a mustard seed anything you ask of my Father in heaven that shall He do. Faith is powerful it causes prayer to hit it's target repeatedly until that enemy is defeated. *Faith is not giving up, not being a quiter, it is believing God over everyones opinion, and over every thought you might have. 3. Having bad feelings towards others is another barrier or blockade to you receiving what you need from God.

Just as Job had to make sacrifice and prayers for his friends so that Job could receive restoration of everything. We also must pray for forgiveness for those who have injured us. Forgiveness is never the acknowledgement that what they did was right or ok, but it is the freeing of your own anger or hurt and the opening of doors to your own blessings. 4. The most important of all is to establish a relationship with God. He is your Father, one who loves you. He is your friend, one who sticks closer than a brother, one who knows you and what you need. He is God, and if you are His child then you are an heir to salvation (eternal life), and also an heir to the riches of his Kingdom. The requests you bring before Him are considered high priority.

*A message about faith from Evangelist Bruce Davis states it this way:

"Our relationship with God is determined by our Faith. When we come to Him, we must believe that He exists and that He is exactly who He has revealed Himself to be in Scriptures. We must also believe that He will respond to us when we earnestly seek Him. Without this kind of Faith, we cannot please God.

Regardless of the morality of our life, the good works we perform, the words we speak, or the sacrifices we make for His sake, if we do not have Faith, we will not please Him. It can be tempting to substitute religious activity for Faith in God. Christians may claim they are being “good stewards” of their resources when, in fact, they are wanting to walk by sight rather than by Faith. We may refuse to do what God tells us unless we can see all the resources in place first.

You may say, “I love God, but I just have difficulty trusting Him.” Then you are not pleasing to Him. You cannot struggle at the core of your relationship with God and still enjoy a vibrant fellowship with Him! Faith does not eliminate problems. Faith keeps us in a trusting relationship with God in the midst of our problems. Faith has to do with our relationship with God, not our circumstances. Some may say, “I'm not much of a person of Faith. I am more of a practical person!” Yet you will never do anything more practical than to place your Trust in the Lord! Nothing is more secure or certain than that which we entrust to God."
